Have you ever heard of Forensic Interviewing? It sounds almost ominous doesn't it! Many when they hear the words forensic interviewing, think it must be great, but don't really know what it is, or who does it.
However, forensic interviewing is significant for investigations involving some of the most vulnerable members of our world - kids. It is important for investigators to understand what forensic interviewing is, and how it may look, if you involve it in your investigation or are supporting a victim through it.
Now I am not an expert in this field, but have found and reviewed an amazing resource to point out, which was created by experts, and those who can help you learn more about it. This is only one are of forensic interviewing, so please do not take it as the only source you should explore. But this is a great place to begin!
