A Bit About Me
Over the years, I have been fortunate in the opportunities I've been provided and experiences I've gained. I began my professional career as a Police Officer, and over time became a Crime Scene Investigator, and Forensic Specialist. During my career as a Police Officer, in addition to being a part of a diverse and vast number of investigations as a Supervisor, a Primary Investigator, and in a variety of support roles. I was also extensively involved in the curriculum development and facilitation of training for investigators, as well as providing guest lectures, and seminars for the training and education at a variety of schools and other community organizations.
My career has since evolved, and I’ve transitioned from practitioner to educator, working now as an Instructor with the Bow Valley College Justice Studies Program, as well as an instructor with the CDI College Law Enforcement Foundations Program. Throughout my career I've realized a passion for education, continuing my own learning, and helping others, in hopes of aiding them in finding and achieving their passions as well.
